How To | Make Banana Pancakes

My friend Sophie had this really simple recipe for a really quick but nutritious breakfast or even pudding. Once you're done, you can add anything you want to it in order to make it a bit more interesting, maybe some jam or sugar or maple syrup (which wouldn't be as healthy but oh well xD).

Ready...Steady...COOK!

Serves: 4-5
Time To Prepare: 10 Minutes
Time To Cook (per pancake): 3-4 Minutes

Tools
-Large bowl/jug
-Fork
-Spatula
-Non stick frying pan
-2-3 plates
-Knife

Ingredients
-2 Bananas
-2 Eggs
-Unsalted butter

STEP 1: Peel, Cut & Mash The Bananas
Time to take your 2 bananas, peel them, then cut them up into small (ish) slices. Once you've done that, place them into the bowl or jug, take your fork and begin to mash the bananas up until it reaches a sloppy consistency.

STEP 2: Add The Eggs To The Mixture
Now you can crack the two eggs into the mixture, once you have done this, give it a good mix until it's consistency becomes 'pourable'.

STEP 3: Add The Mixture To The Pan
Warm the pan up on a low heat and put in a slither of butter, this makes it easier to flip the pancake later. Once you've done that and the butter has melted throughout the entirety of the pan, you can now pour the mixture into the pan. Make sure you don't pour in too much as you don't want it too big or too thick. Make it around the same size as a CD. Up the heat slightly but not too much as you don't want the pan or the pancake itself to burn.

Yes it looks disgusting but it's actually delicious xD. Once the edges start to harden, you can try to flip it. If you aren't confident simply tossing it in the pan (like me for example), then now is the time to use your spatula. Here's a shot of me enjoying the pancake cooking process xD

Yes, ours looks a little burnt, but the other side is much better looking xD

 STEP 4: Enjoy Your Pancake
Once you think the pancake is cooked through, pick the pancake up (carefully) with the spatula, take a plate and place the pancake on it. Should you wish to make more, simply repeat this process :)

By the way, I thought you'd enjoy some pictures of Sophie dancing to Gem 106 radio station xD

I hope you enjoyed this post as it was a little different! If you have a go at making them let me know, tweet me on Twitter or tag me on Instagram (links below or in the side bar). If you want to check out Sophie's Instagram, I will leave it below also :) See you next time guys!
