Christmas Gift Guide: For Him | Under £10
Here it is, the 'For Him' edition of my 2015 Christmas Gift Guide. How exciting right? Don't you just love Christmas? I know I do. Anyway, whether you're looking for some stocking fillers for your son or brother, or have a 'Secret Santa' at work you need to buy for, I'm sure there'll be something in this post to help you on the way to making a decision about what to buy the men in your life. Shall we begin? :)
Product: 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School' by Jeff Kinney
From: Sainsburys
Price: £5

This would make a great present for say a nephew, young son, or little brother. It's so easy to read and it's made interesting inside my the amount of little illustrations there are so help the story come to life. It would make a great stocking filler or as a little present to bulk out something else. That, and it's a hard back, so durable and the cover won't rip if chucked in their school bag or something. A lovely little present for any boy who loves to read both books and comics.
Product: T-Shirts
From: Primark
Price: £2.50 (for the plain ones) £4 (for the patterned one)
I loved the colour of this one, it's a wintery red, perfect for Christmas and for bringing in the New Year. The fact it's plain is good as it means it can be layered underneath patterned shirts and jumpers and it wouldn't matter if it peeped out over the top or from underneath the hem. They're also pretty soft so would keep any human warm if layered under a cardy or cute Christmas jumper. It can even be worn on it's own during transitional seasons, and a steal at just £2.50. This top has a round neck and is considered a classic cut for Primark, so I got a medium one for my brother.
This one is also for my brother, and yes, it's a large because I loved the colour of this top, but it said it was a 'slim fit', now if, like my brother, the man (or men) in your life doesn't like clingy tops etc, then I suggest going a size up like I did. This top also has a V neck instead of the typical round neck going on with the previous top I showed you which changes things up a bit especially seeing as my brother is used to wearing round necks! The colour drew me to this one, it's a nice festive green rather than a tacky bottle green that usually trends around this time of year. Again, it's something soft and plain, so great for layering or for wearing on it's own. I don't think men could ever have enough casual tops, whether they choose to wear it for lunch or going to the gym, there'll always be room for another tee.
While I was in Primark, I decided to change things up a bit and buy a top with some sort of pattern or print on it as I thought the plain tops would get a little boring. This one was just £4, there were loads of other designs I liked which I didn't get because they didn't have my brother's size which was a shame because I loved so many of them, but only ended up getting this one. It is nice though, it makes things more interesting, and it isn't seasonal, it's not overly Christmassy nor does it scream spring or summer, it can be worn all year round if he wishes, which was what I was going for really :)

If the person you're buying for loves to experiment with hair styling etc, this would be a nice one to pop in a little box with other little bits and bobs you've collected. Like with my 'Christmas Gift Guide For Her', you could buy a few little toiletries and pop them in a Christmas box or gift bag to make a collection of useful things. Or, you could simply use this as a stocking filler instead, it's up to you. I bought this to pop in my brother's stocking, he asked for this particular one, so going on my 18 year old brother's recommendations, I thought it would make a helpful contribution to this post :)
Product: 'Better Call Saul'/'Breaking Bad' Novelty Mug
From: Amazon
Price: £4.67

Now, you may recognise this mug from another blog post, and no, I'm not handing it down to anyone, I still have and use mine, and I love it so much, my family thought it would make a nice present for a family friend of ours who loves drinking tea and watching 'Breaking Bad', he also LOVES to follow up series to 'BB', 'Better Call Saul' which is on Netflix. So we ordered this one for him as a little prezzie. But you don't have to buy this particular one, Amazon is full of novelty mugs you can buy, just search for anything you like, I'm pretty sure they'd have it on a mug ;) Novelty mugs are always fun!
I thought these would be the kinds of things you'd pop in a little box to make a collection of things for someone this Christmas. Toiletries are essential, and everyone uses deodorant, body wash, shower gel etc, and every man uses some sort of shaving aid, so the next few items consist of deodorants, body sprays, shampoos and body washes, I won't talk you through every single one though :)

I don't think you can go wrong with a gift set at Christmas, even if open it and split what's inside between a few people, or simply give one box to one person, there's something for everyone in regards to that, that and they're all a pretty good price at Superdrug at the mo, so even if someone's birthday is coming up before Christmas, you can buy a gift set for an awesome deal, so Superdrug is the home for less expensive gift sets right now.

Remember what I was saying about Christmas gift sets and Superdrug? Well I got another one, perhaps for my Dad, I'm not sure just yet :) This set comes complete with a hair or body wash, you can use it for both according to the bottle, and a shower gel, it's such a nice little set coming in a gorgeous little box which can be used for storage as well and needn't be thrown away, it also smells pretty darn good as well :)
I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you Wednesday with a brand new post for you all!
