Scarves Galore

If you know me, you'll know that my three weaknesses while out shopping are shoes, scarves and handbags, I thought I had my scarf obsession under control, but this post clearly shows I've made no attempt to suppress my love for scarves and to be honest...I'm not sorry, my collection has grown considerably and continues to grow and I love it. I have a scarf for every outfit and every coat, each one goes with at least one other thing in my wardrobe, I recon I could open a scarf renting shop (#worstideaever) xD.
Anyway, you don't want to hear about my collection, you want to see my collection, so here we go :)
THIN SPRING/SUMMER SCARVES
I don't own many thin scarves as I do thicker ones, simply because I love to buy nice big cosy scarves for the colder months, but thinner scarves are great for the transitional seasons, when it's too hot to wear a thicker, softer scarf, but it would be a little too chilly without one on at all, so as an in-between, I love to wear scarves like these, they keep the wind off, but they're not sweltering, I think everyone should have a thin scarf in their wardrobe, not only to help keep them warm, but to accessorise with as well.
This scarf was about £2 from a charity shop, its a little warmer than the other scarves in this category simply because its a little thicker and made out of a slightly different material. The colours are pretty autumnal, so its great for this time of year, it can be worn with any colours, from burgundy to burnt orange, it's definitely one of my favourites.
I got this one for £3 in a charity shop, and yes, this one isn't as interesting as the other one, but its practical, again, this goes with anything, apart from pink and every other shade of orange, the best thing is it can be worn with patterned tops, I love to wear it with black and white stripes and floral shirts. Its not too thick, but its not really thin, it's great at keeping the wind out, that and the colour makes it perfect for this time of year, you know you're winning when the colour of your scarf matches the colour of the Autumn leaves xD
This scarf was from Sainsburys a couple of years ago, I can't really remember how much is cost, but it wasn't more than a tenner. This one is great to jazz up an all black outfit, for those days where you really can't be bothered and you just stick on a pair of black leggings and a baggy black top, this is great for adding a pop of colour, the bright blue colour catches people's eye and takes attention away from the rest of an otherwise boring outfit.
This floral one was from George at Asda, it was about a fiver, and is probably a good 4 years old now, this is my favourite one to wear during the Summer months, its great to chuck on over a floaty peach coloured T-Shirt, or with a denim jacket, its thin and airy and great for the Summer heat, it doesn't make me feel any hotter, it just adds a little something extra to a bog standard outfit.
This one is from Sainsburys, it was £8 and is about a month old, which means that, yes, you can still buy it NOW. The design is an amazing concoction of burgundy, burnt oranges, mustard yellows and neutral creams, its the epitome of what an Autumnal scarf should look like, that and the detail added onto the edges makes it one of my favourites. Its a beautiful pattern, comprised of wintery colours and I just love it, so GET IT WHILE YOU STILL CAN! You can thank me later ;)
This one was from Next a couple of years ago, it was around a tenner, and its amazing. Elephants are one of my favourite animals (that and blue whales), it breaks my heart to hear of the hardship they're suffering at the hands of humans, and although me buying a scarf with a few elephants on it won't help their situation in the slightest, its a way for me to express my love for them. I wear this more so with dresses, plain coloured dresses with a blue cardy and black loafers. It's had more than its fair share of wears over the past couple of years, so its totally worth the £10 price tag.
While we're on the topic of Elephants, if you'd like to help or want to adopt an Asian Elephant, then please visit the WWF web page, all money goes to a fantastic cause, you'd help to restore and protect their natural habitats, strengthen conservation laws, help train and equip those who carry out anti poaching patrols and so much more, if you want to find out more about helping the Elephants, visit the link below and give whatever you can, thank you.

I can't actually remember where this was from, I think it was Sainsburys, but I can't be too sure. Anyway, I bought it a good 4 years ago so you wouldn't be able to get your hand son it now anyway unfortunately. However, the neutral colours makes it an easy piece to wear and pull off, I wear it with pretty much anything, it goes really nicely with the Autumnal colours which are totally in this season, making it extremely on trend. That and the woodland creatures also add to the wintery, autumnal feel, tis the season for foxes, hedgehogs, field mice and owls right? xD

THICK AUTUMN/WINTER SCARVES
This category is my favourite. Autumn and Winter are my two favourite seasons, not only because its the time of Halloween, Bonfire Night, my Sister's birthday and Christmas, its also the time of year where I get whip out my thick woolly scarves again.
This one was from Sainsburys last year, it was about £10 and it just caught my eye. I thought it was very Christmassy, that and it felt amazingly soft, its incredibly warm and it's one of my favourites when the weather takes a bitterly cold turn.
This one was from Primark, it was £7 and you can still get it in stores RIGHT NOW, so if you like it, take a trip to your local Primark and see if they have it in, I've only worn it a couple of times as I bought it about 3 days ago. I wore it the other day with a grey top, it was particularly cold that day and I was wrapped up to my nose in this nice big scarf, I was pretty snug and cosy, so I recommend you hunt one of these down, or at least buy one with a similar woolly material :)
This one was from Dorothy Perkins for about £12, again about a year ago, it doesn't look like anything special, but its the softest winter scarf I own, its basically a blanket scarf, it's still pretty autumnal, but it the colours aren't typical of that of Autumn, there isn't any burgundy, there aren't any dark purples or forest greens, it's unique, it's different and that's what I love about it.
This scarf is from Primark, I actually found it in the Men's section, it was on sale for about £2, and because I like the colour and the feel of it, I nought it, no one would be able to tell that it's a man's scarf, although you (reading this) will know now xD. Again, its something to just chuck on to add some colour and just make a winter's day outfit more interesting.
This grey one is from The House of Fraser, its by a brand called 'Linear' and it was about half price when I bought it back in March, originally it was about £30, I got it for £15, I wouldn't usually spend that much on a scarf, but I was out with my Mum for my birthday and it was a very cold day, I wasn't prepared for it to be that cold, so I buckled and bought a scarf to help keep me warm! However, I didn't have a grey scarf in my collection at that point, so it wasn't a waste of money, I wear it a lot now actually, I'm really glad I bought it :)
This scarf is from Primark, I'll probably wear it a lot more when the weather gets really cold, because it's huge and incredibly soft and therefore very warm, so right now, it isn't cold enough to wear on an everyday basis, but if I nip out in the evening for whatever reason, its a scarf I'll go to for that very reason, its very cosy and I'm so glad I have it as a piece in my wardrobe.
I got this for Christmas about three years ago, its a real lambs wool, made in Scotland scarf, its exceptionally soft and although it's not a blanket scarf, its deceptively warm, even when just slung round my neck. The bright red colour really pops when worn with a black leather jacket, wits so eye catching, and just adds a little something extra to a boring outfit.
I got this scarf for Christmas last year, after getting a red tartan scarf the year before, I really wanted a green one, and, like the red one, its a real lamb wool, made in Scotland scarf, I don't wear it as much as the red one, but I still love to wear it a lot during the cold months, especially around Christmas time.
This one was from Primark about a year ago, but they're selling one similar to it right now, so get down there ASAP before they all start selling out. Primark have really upped their game this year with thick Winter scarves, instead of just selling the same ones with the same patterns year after year, they're finally branching out on the design front which is good for them, because I now want to go out and buy them ALL :) This scarf goes with any colour, so its my go-to scarf at the moment, I'll be wearing it a lot :)
This scarf is brand new, I bought it a few days ago from Sainsburys for about £10, its really soft and woolly, and insanely warm. Also, because it's plain, I find it goes with pretty much anything, so it's worth the money if I can wear it with loads of different outfit combos.

I bought this online from Amazon last year, I love tartan, and I was on the look out for a tartan that was a little different to the typical red, green and blue variations. This one is lovely, yes, it has blue in it, but to me it screams purple, I love the peach stripes running through it, it makes it more interesting and slightly more colourful, its one of my favourites.

Yes, it's another tartan scarf, I but I love how it's not a traditional tartan, there's no green or anything in it, its just simple, simple colours, with a simple pattern, I also love the wintery red colour, its not bright, its warm, just right for this time of year.

Once again, it's tartan and once again, its from (yes you guessed it) Primark, it was only a fiver! Again, its something different, I'd never seen a tartan with a white background before, but its also very traditional in the sense that it incorporates red, green and a slither of yellow, the black stripes make it perfect for use during the Winter months as it mutes the bright red and green. I can see this being perfect in the run up to Christmas.

I hope you enjoyed this post guys! If you want me to do anything for you, let me know in the comment section or via the links below or in the side bar. I will see you on Wednesday with a brand new blog post for you :)
