Face Masks You Need To Try

I'm a huge believer in having some sort of skincare routine. Whether it just be a quick wash and a moisturise at the end of a long day or even when you wake up in the morning. I know, sometimes it can feel like a bit of a chore, but it really doesn't have to be that way.

You should look forward to treating your skin to a quick and relaxing pamper session. The one thing that will always be at the top of my list of things to include on a pamper night is a face mask. So here are a few really effective and affordable masks that I really recommend, whether you're prepping for a night out with the girls or simply want to chill and fall asleep at the end of a busy day, there'll be something in this post for everyone.

'Oh K!' Bubble Sheet Mask

"Exfoliate and cleanse"

I loved this. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Totally exfoliates and hydrates. It made my skin feel soft and smooth and the effects lasted for a few days into the week. It doesn't feel irritating on the skin, I didn't break out or get any rashes (an achievement for me as I have quite sensitive skin), it was just a joy to use. If you have a spare 10/15 minutes, treat your skin to this mask.

You can feel the treatment working under the sheet, it literally does feel like it's bubbling (something I thought was a bit of a gimmick looking at the packaging). Just ensure you're lying down when you use it as the mask can slide down your face if stood up for too long, looking in the mirror at how ridiculously creepy you look. It would make the perfect novelty present for a teenager or simply pop one in your cupboard in preparation for a cosy girl's night in.

Garnier 'Skin Active' Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask

"Hydrates and soothes"

For a budget beauty buy, this one really does take the cake. It's very good for the money, providing amazing results after just one use. I wouldn't say that the effects last for 7 days however, as stated on the packaging, but it lasts for a fair number of days. Leaving the skin soft, smooth and looking brighter in general, it proves you don't have to pay top dollar for a quality skincare pamper product. It takes 15 minutes to work, I didn't have any break outs or rashes as a result of using the mask and it's perfect for those with sensitive skin. I highly recommend this if you're on a tight budget, perfect for students!

Beauty Pro Thermotherapy Warming Gold Foil Mask

" Nourishes, hydrates and moisturises"

This is one of the best face masks I've ever tried. The warming sensation instantly relaxes you, you can almost feel it working into your skin. It's so very quick and easy to apply to the face, it starts work almost immediately and provides a very generous amount of moisture. The skin feels refreshed, hydrated and look radiant after just one use. As well as making your face feel soft. It really is worth the money and I'll keep buying these for as long as I can get my hands on them. Very impressed!

Spacemasks.com 'Interstellar Relaxation'

"Mood-calming and soothing"

I have been very impressed by this face mask. I got one in a Birchbox, then found out they sold them in their online store, so I bought a load more. It's very relaxing and soothing with a pleasant scent. I wouldn't say it moisturises but it hydrates the skin and relaxes you to the max. It even helped to ease a bad headache, which meant I could fall asleep quickly and have a super deep, long, undisturbed sleep. I woke up the following morning feeling refreshed and awake. I recommend it for those who like to do their skincare routine before they jump into bed at night, it will make you feel super sleepy!
