A Day at South Stack Lighthouse
While we were in Wales celebrating my brother's graduation (you can see how we celebrated here), we took a half an hour trip to South Stack lighthouse in Anglesey. The weather was beautiful, it was relatively free of people and the views were incredibly impressive. I could have spent all day there just looking out over the sea. You could just about see the coast of Ireland from the top of the cliff edge which really was amazing.
After walking around for a while, we eventually decided to walk down the 400 odd steps which leads you to the lighthouse footbridge. You pay cash for a small paper ticket which grants you access to the very top of the lighthouse (which we didn't end up doing, as someone in our party was scared of open heights). But the views were still stunning, aside from the ever real fear of being pooed on by seagulls, haha.
This is going to be a very photo heavy post, I know there are a few of you who enjoy those, so this is for you! I hope you enjoy scrolling through them.
