What Did I Order from The Body Shop This Month?

I'm back again this month with a brand new blog post showing you what I've bought from The Body Shop. I do these every once in a while as I know a few of you like to see these little hauls. So here's everything I've bought from The Body Shop recently. Some products are golden oldies, whereas others are brand new that I simply cannot wait to try. Let's dive in, shall we?

Vitamin C 'Glow Boosting' Moisturiser

*£20 (50ml)

I have been using this for well over a year now and it has become one of my all time favourite staple skincare products. I can use it right after cleansing and it dries incredibly quickly, making makeup application quick and easy. But it also provides the best foundation for makeup applications because it's more like a gel rather than a cream. It gives a smooth look and a soft feel without having to go all-out covering your face in lots of different products. If you try anything from The Body Shop, please try this because it's a game-changer!

"Give dull and tired skin a little va-va-voom with our Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser. The formula you love is back in a new pack, ready to give your complexion some serious TLC. Our moisturiser instantly peps up skin, helping it feel hydrated and refreshed, with a glowy finish! Made with 96% ingredients of natural origin, our Vitamin C moisturiser infused with camu camu berry extract. Camu camu berries are known to contain more than double the vitamin C content you'd find in juicy oranges. Skin feels instantly smoother and softer, with visibly less dull and more radiant complexion. There's one more surprise - our new jar is 100% recyclable and made with recycled glass too."

Vitamin E 'Nourishing' Night Cream

*£18 (50ml)

I am a long-time user of this product, as you probably know if you've been following me on here for a while. But the issue is that this is the exact same product only it's been re-branded as a night cream rather than a nourishing or "intense" moisturiser, as it was described beforehand. But it's still the same product and I am beyond happy with it as I have used it before. I won't bang on about it any more as I often sing its praises on here, but I'll leave you with a little description and every anyway :)

"Our Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream is skincare that doesn't sleep. This rich, non-greasy formula protects and intensely nourishes, locking in moisture so that you wake up with skin that's happy, healthy-looking and hydrated for 72 hours."

"Enriched with 95% natural-origin ingredients, including two hero ingredients known for their hydrating properties: natural-origin hyaluronic acid and vitamin E acid might sound a little, well, technical, but it's simply a natural-occurring molecule that attracts 1000X its weight in water, leaving skin plump with moisture."

"But this cream does more than just care for your skin. It contains raspberry seed oil, known to be a source of vitamin E, which we make using raspberries leftover from the juice industry, meaning there's less waste overall."

"We haven't stopped there, either. We've updated our packaging so that your favourite face cream now comes in a recyclable glass jar made from 40% recycled glass that's topped with an aluminium lid - perfect for reusing or recycling, again and again."

Shea Lip Butter

*£5 (10ml)

I have been having trouble with dry lips as the colder season ends and I'm really struggling to find a lip care product that will actually sort the problem out rather than cover it up or rectify it for all of five minutes or that comes off as soon as I have a drink or something to eat. I have always been a fan of the lip balms from The Body Shop, but more of the bog standard ones as opposed to a more creamy, slightly more expensive lip balm, like this one that I've opted for. I also feel like you get a decent amount of it as well so it should last a fair amount of time.

"Intensely nourish and help protect your lips from dryness with our best ever Shea Lip Butter. Smooth on our rich, buttery balm. It moisturises and soothes dry lips and gives a light, natural-looking sheen without adding colour. Now made with 95% ingredients of natural origin, including handcrafted Community Fair Trade shea butter from Ghana, this vegan balm also leaves lips looking softer and smoother with a subtle, nutty scent."

Shea 'Intense Repair' Hair Mask

*£16 (240ml)

I have been on the lookout for a decent hair mask recently and all of the ones on the supermarket shelves just seem a bit much-of-a-much. I have had my eye on this one for quite some time, so I took the plunge and added it to my basket. I read a few reviews online and I feel like I now have some high hopes for this hair mask, but don't worry, I'll report back on it for you :)

"Give dry to very dry hair and breakage-prone hair some serious love with a creamy dollop of our best ever Shea Intense Repair Mask. Every scoop of this buttery stuff is now Certified by The Vegan Society and made with 95% ingredients of natural origin, including handcrafted Community Fair Trade shea butter from Ghana, Community Fair Trade organic virgin coconut oil from Samoa and Community Fair Trade organic olive oil from Italy. That's a serious line-up!"

"Massage this nutty-smelling hair mask and let it melt into every lock. It helps strengthen hair and reduces breakage and the appearance of split ends. And even helps replenish dry locks with moisture so they feel intensely nourished, healthier, smoother, softer and more manageable."

"Made with Vegan Silk Protein, use a generous dollop once a week as part of our 3-step Shea routine to help repair hair from the inside out. Our hair mask also comes in tubs made with 100% recycled plastic, including Community Fair Trade recycled plastic collected off the streets of Bengaluru, India, so it does good for your do and your planet."

Camomile 'Sumptuous' Cleansing Butter

*RRP: £6 (20ml)

This is something that was actually provided in my package, free of charge. I haven't really been interested in using or even trying a cleansing butter before, but I'd be more than happy to give this one a go. It smells incredible and the fell and texture of it feels super soft and luxurious. I haven't tried anything like this before from The Body Shop, but I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do for me and my skin.

"Our Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter can help melt away makeup and all traces of impurities. This buttery pot of goodness makes taking your makeup off at the end of the day a bit fun....massage our Camomile Cleansing Butter into your skin to melt the day away. This purifying cleanser also helps to stop those hidden nasties from clogging up your pores, and used on the reg will keep skin feeling refreshed and nourished."

A headband thrown in for good measure

*RRP: £6

Much like the cleansing butter, this headband was also thrown in for free. I'm assuming it's to go alongside the butter so as not to get it all over my hair and head. It would never have occurred to me to buy a headband for this purpose as I usually just go with it when I apply skincare products, but I'm looking forward to giving it a try during my skincare routine.

"Use this headband to keep your hair away from your face when cleansing or applying makeup."
