Introducing Michael Kors into My Handbag Collection: The Saffiano Dome Crossbody Bag
Yes, I know what you're thinking "another handbag?!" Yes. I love handbags and shoes, but shoes aren't nearly as exciting as having a new, beautiful handbag adorning my shoulder. So, the latest handbag in my fresh, higher-end collection of handbags is the beautiful Saffiano Dome crossbody bag from Michael Kors. I have been looking for a new tan, leather handbag for a while. Usually, my go-to is Radley, as many as my followers on here will know.
But they just didn't have anything suitable, that I had in mind by way of a smart/casual tan handbag that could be easily worn with any outfit and that could fit a number of items inside. A crossbody bag is the perfect option for me right now. They can fit everything I need, while leaving me hands-free and allowing for quick and easy access.
It also means that it's always on my person, so there's no chance of me leaving it somewhere by accident or having it snatched from me. So my latest handbag had to be a crossbody one, just so that I could get as much use out of it as possible. Anyway, this Michael Kors handbag is the latest brand in my handbag collection.
I've never had a Michael Kors bag before. In fact, it never really crossed my mind to go for MK. It wasn't until I was scrolling through the John Lewis website that it hit me. The great thing about MK is that they're completely in my price range. I don't have any problems investing in quality leather handbags, which is why I love Radley so much.
Take a Look at the Other Handbags in My Collection
I have no idea why I never gave MK a thought before, because their handbags are just stunning. I had to be quite controlled while ordering this one because I could have quite easily bought another couple, but I refrained, haha. Anyway, enough babbling on from me about handbags, haha. Let me show you the latest addition to my handbag collection.
The Michael Kors 'Saffiano Dome' Crossbody Bag
First and foremost, I love the tab colour with the gold hardware, complete with clasp and buckle. The zip is also high-quality and matches with the rest of the gold hardware. The inside of the bag is deceivingly spacious, with enough room in there to house an umbrella, a purse, your phone, a lipstick and a hand cream, to name just a few things.
Those are just the items that I like to travel with when I go out. The leather isn't smooth, as you can tell by the photographs. It's almost slightly textured, but it's not soft. It's a hard leather with an interesting patter and the token Michael Kors stamp on the front, also in gold hardware.
The strap is adjustable, so it can be made longer or shorter, depending on how you want to wear it. Overall, I think it's a stunning handbag that I'll get a lot of use out of, whether I'm going for cocktails with the girls or a pub lunch on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
