Our Views on the Euphoria Corner Sofa from DFS | Tried & Tested
We bought a new sofa back in November and it came in January, which I thought was pretty timely given that this is a five seater corner sofa that's also been handmade. But despite having it delivered in quick time, I'd love to let you know what we think to the new addition to our home and how we've been getting on with it so far. At this point in the year, they should still sell this sofa so I'll link it below for you in case you want to check it out for your own living room :)
This isn't the cheapest corner sofa on offer from DFS, and we also opted for memory foam cushions (which you pay an extra fee for) and five years' insurance for accidental damages etc. It also comes with a coating that helps to prevent stains from setting into the material, which I thought was completely worth going with just to protect the cushions and the filling inside.
There are a number of different colours available, the one we went with was 'breeze' and it's quite light grey in colour, as you can see. There are lighter shades available and there are also shades that are more brown in tone than grey, so the choice really is up to you and your home decor. We wanted a material that was light enough to offset the feature wall we want to go with but dark enough that it doesn't stand out completely from the rest of decor.
The cushions on the arms of the sofa aren't actually attached so they can be picked up and moved around if someone wants a bit more back support or more cushioning which is really handy. But at the same time, they're wonderful in their intended place because you can rest your head or your arm on it and be completely comfortable for as long as you want to stay there. It also gives a lot of support if you're sat on the ends. I just think it adds an extra level of cosiness to the sofa overall and I'm completely here for it!
To conclude, I would absolutely recommend this sofa after a couple of months of using it. You won't look back, I can guarantee you! We've kept our old two seater sofa and we rarely sit on it anymore because the new one is just extra comfortable. I would also recommend DFS to you as a sofa company.
Our last sofa was from DFS and both times we have been completely impressed by the level of customer service we've received. Even those delivering the sofa were friendly, professional and extremely efficient, so it's totally worth the steep delivery cost.
Anyway, this sofa has been an absolute game changer for us. We can both spread out and be nice and comfy and cosy and it's quite honestly something that I look at and think "I CANNOT wait to snuggle down on that this evening" - I think that tells you everything you need to know about our new sofa.
