Everything I Loved in July

July has come and gone, another month out of a very busy year for us. We've just started fitting out kitchen, which is another renovation post you can look forward to seeing eventually. But before we even think about completing yet another renovation job, let's take a look back at the month of July and everything I've loved over the last four weeks!

Ed Sheeran, supported by Busted

This month, we scored some last minute tickets to Ed Sheeran's homecoming tour in Ipswitch. We travelled down there, and came back again, all in the same day, which is roughly a five hour round trip! But it was all worth it.

Part of our motivation, as much as I absolutely love Ed, was that Busted were supporting him. I have been a fan of Busted since their first ever album, so I jumped at the chance to see them perform on the same night. It was almost as if that whole set had been made for me.

It was such an awesome night from start to finish, and I'd love to go back and do it all over again. It was just incredible, and a gig that I will remember for a long time to come, even after all of the concerts I've been to so far.

60th anniversary event at East Midlands Airport

During July East Midlands Airport celebrated their 60th anniversary and part of that involved putting and event on over the middle weekend in July. There was lots to see and do for people in the village, including some stalls and even a fly past of the Red Arrows.

We couldn't wait to go and catch a glimpse of them speeding through the sky, and we were fortune enough, after being postponed for four hours, to see the Red Arrows fly right over the top of us. What a sight to behold!

Chester Zoo with my family

This month, Myself and Tom, my mum and dad, my sister and my brother and sister-in-law all met up at Chester Zoo for a much-needed catch up. We spent the whole day walking around the zoo, looking at all of the animals and just generally having a really good time.

Eventually, the sun came out, which was just a bonus really! Afterwards, we all went our for a spot of dinner at a nearby pub, enjoying the last few hours of the day together before we all went our separate ways back home again. Definitely a day to remember.

Michael Kors handbag

I recently bought a new handbag, and this time, I've decided to add Michael Kors to my growing collection. It's tan an made from 100% leather. I also love the gold hardware. I've really enjoyed wearing this any chance I get, more so for occasions where I'm not drudging around in trainers for example, haha.

If you want to take a closer, more detailed look at this handbag, you can check out one of my more recent blog posts where I showcase it for you all to see - Introducing Michael Kors into My Handbag Collection.
