4 Reasons to Visit Ireland This Summer
Ireland is a place that's just over the road, so to speak, and we never thought to visit there before until my brother and my now sister-in-law got married there. But having been, it got me wondering why we had never been there before, especially given that it has so much to offer. In this blog post, I'll be telling you why you should visit Ireland, and why we'd like to go back there sometime soon.
1. Scenery is amazing
The scenery is stunning in Ireland. Whether you enjoy the rolling hills and luscious green landscapes or, like us, prefer the beaches and water settings, Ireland has something for everyone. From hiking and general sightseeing to soaking up the atmosphere and going for a bike ride, Ireland really does has it all.
2. Experience a different culture
While Ireland isn't a million miles away from the UK, it's still its own country with its own identity, and that shows through in buckets when you visit the place. It's definitely an experience to be had that you'll not likely forget in a hurry, offering something that nowhere else in Europe can provide.
3. The cities are lively
The cities in Ireland each offer something different, but one thing they offer tourists in spades is charm and character. The cities are always buzzing and jumping with authentic music, food and drink that everyone can enjoy. The overall atmosphere is unrivalled and like nothing else you'll experience anywhere in the world.
4. Weather is pleasant during the summertime
Ireland is has pleasant weather at this time of year. While, like most of the time in the UK, you can't bank on it not raining, the temperatures are comfortable and, often, you'll find that the sun is shining, most of time, during the summer months. It's the perfect time to visit Ireland if you're looking for the staycation vibe whilst still going abroad, technically.
