Everything I Loved in November
Another month, another blog post where I tell you about everything I've loved throughout the month. How has it already come to the end of November? Why are we talking about Christmas? That's because we've almost come to the end of the year and I honestly don't know where all of that time went. But we're here now and it's time for me to tell you everything I loved in November.
Dinner at The Farmer's Dog
We recently visited The Farmer's Dog for dinner to celebrate 9 years together. Located in the heart of the Cotswolds, it's own by Jeremy Clarkson, is the main basis for the latest season of Clarkson's Farm and only serves British food.
It was an amazing experience with delicious food and an incredibly relaxing ambience for good measure. I have written a whole, detailed blog post all about it if you want to read about our experience in more depth!
Seeing the annual Christmas Pantomime at the Nottingham Playhouse
The end of this month saw us going to the annual Christmas panto at the Nottingham Playhouse. We saw Sleeping Beauty. It was made all the more special by the fact that my brother and sister-in-law are coming along too.
It's just a special family annual event that holds a special place in my heart and I'm glad that we all went and enjoyed it! I'll be writing a more detailed blog post all about it in December as part of my Blogmas series, so keep your eyes peeled!
Meeting up with friends
We met up with our friends this month to celebrate her birthday. We saw her, her husband and her two adorable little boys. They had some exciting news for us as well, which made our time all the more special. We couldn't have asked for a more amazing or relaxing time, with delicious food and incredible company.
Celebrating my sister's birthday
My sister celebrated her birthday this month. She didn't want to do anything special for it, but we did go for a nice walk with the dog, had some pub grub and ate some of my mum's amazing sausage and chicken casserole in a white mushroom sauce. It was just a generally relaxed day by all accounts and she went into her new year feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world!
Family meal
The Saturday after the annual panto, we all went out for a spot of lunch, including my in-laws. We thought it was the perfect opportunity to get everyone together for Christmas. We all had some nice food, enjoyed a few drinks and just generally had a really relaxing time. It set us up for the December month perfectly.
