Step Up Your Style: The Heeled Chelsea Boots You'll Wear on Repeat This Season
I have been on the hunt for some new casual black boots for a while now. But they either weren't what I was looking for or they cost more than I was willing to pay for them. So when we did our weekly food shop at Sainsbury's the other week, I just thought that I'd check out the shoe collection they have.
I looked at all of the boots, but they weren't what I was looking for. The tops stopped at the ankle and the heels were too flat. They were also shiny faux leather, but I wanted the suede look. I had a good rummage and I found one pair of boots right at the back of the hanging rod.
These were the only Chelsea boots left and guess what?! They were in MY SIZE. This almost never happens, so I took it as a sign. I quickly scooped them up, tried them on and decided then and there to make the purchase.
I'm so glad that I did because they're the ideal boot for wearing with almost everything. I can see myself wearing these all the time now the autumn/winter season has hit. What a find! The best part is they were only £30, which I thought was very reasonable for the quality and the design.
I really think that Sainsbury's have upped their game when it comes to supermarket fashion. Aside from M&S, I think my wardrobe is made up of clothes just from TU. I'm sure you'll see these on a favourites list some time soon, so keep your eyes peeled at the end of this month.
