Everything I Loved in April
April has come and gone, which is crazy because it seemed like so long ago back in December. But so much has happened in April and there's been a lot that I have loved throughout the month that I wanted to share with you all. So let's get into it!
My brother's Irish wedding
This month, my brother got married to his gorgeous finacee over in Ireland and it was an absolutely fantastic day. The wedding itself took place with a backdrop of the ocean and the setting was just perfect. It suited them both seamlessly. It carried on into day two with a get together at one of the local Irish pubs, with some amazing food and drink and a live band that finished the night, and the weekend, off remarkably.
Black Mirror
I have loved Black Mirror, ever since it aired for the first time on the telly many years ago. I found the latest series my favourite one yet. The episodes were so poignant and emotional, pulling at the heart strings in the kind of way that none of the others have. I also love the concept of Black Mirror.
I think it's so interesting that one man has this perspective on the direction of the world, from technology to advert culture. It's scary but fascinating at the same time and that's why I love it so much. I'm hoping for another series at some point, just to carry on the madness!
My pastel pink nails
I had my nails done this month to match the dress I wore to my brother's wedding, and I went for a pastel pink. I've never gone for a colour like this before, so it's a tad out of my comfort zone, but in the end, I really loved them. I just couldn't stop looking at them and they've lasted really well too. I wrote a blog post about my new gel manicure here, if you're interested :)
Gardener's World
Gardener's World started airing again after a long and drawn out winter, which I was delighted about. I love Gardener's World. There's so much you can learn from Monty Don and the rest of his team. I also love adding new plants and flowers to the garden, whether in pots or in the boarders.
So I'm always looking for new tips and ideas to get my latest garden project moving. It's also such a chilled out and relaxing programme to watch at the end of a long busy working week. If you love your gardening and have never seen it before, then you need to get stuck in.
