Everything I Loved in November

We have reached the end of November, which is mind-blowing, but so much happened this month in terms of experiences we've had and things we've done that I couldn't wait to share with you. So let's stop stalling - here's everything I loved in November...

My best friend's wedding

Despite being right at the end of the month, my best friend's wedding has to be the highlight of the last four weeks, hands down. I was bridesmaid and it was just the most perfect day filled with all of the joy and happiness that you could want in a wedding. It was heart-warming for me to see my best friend marrying her one and only, and it was just a privileged to be there by her side. It was an incredible day that I will remember for the rest of my life - stunning.

A 30th birthday in the family

We all got together this month for a 30th birthday in the family, getting together at the local village hall to celebrate the occasion. We had a lot of food, great music and a drank a lot of prosecco - what more could you ask for when celebrating a 30th birthday?!

Hen do 2.0 for my bestie

This month saw us heading out for my best friend's second hen do. We did a bottomless brunch at Slug and Lettuce and trust me when I say we were absolutely smashed! I haven't had a night out like that in a long time, but I had such an amazing time, and so did my bestie, which is all that matters :)

My sister's birthday

Sophie celebrated her 25th birthday this year, but she didn't want any fuss. So she opted to go for a walk around a local nature reserve, head to the garden centre afterwards for some hot chocolate, followed by a home-cooked meal and a delicious slice of birthday cake - simple-but-effective, in my opinion.

It snowed

I'm one of those people who absolutely loves it when the snow starts to fall. It looks amazing and it's so fun to get around in, provided you're not driving anywhere, haha. I will always make a point of avoiding getting in the car when it snows, mainly for safety reasons, but I also like the feel of the crunch of the snow under my feet.

It also looks incredible, more so now that we've moved out towards the countryside. The fields and the trees are left untouched, and it looks like a proper winter wonderland. It stayed around for about four or five days and melted completely by the weekend, having fallen on the Monday before and, to be honest, I was gutted when it finally melted away :(

A new festive Starbucks mug - meet the Bear-ista!

This month, Tom treated me to a new festive mug to add to my collection. I love the mugs from Starbucks, whether it be pumpkin or autumn-themed or Christmassy. This month, Tom piked up this little cutie and I absolutely love him.

Given it snowed only a week later, and he's white in colour, I called him "Snowy the Bear-ista", with him being called a "Bearista" online by Starbucks themselves. I had to keep his original name, because it cracked me up, but he has a forename name, as well as an occupation, haha!

Bonfire Night

I love Bonfire Night, it's one of my favourite occasions of the year. It's cool, it's simple, it's full of my most favourite comfort foods and I get to spend the evening with the family. This year was no different. It was a really relaxing night, spent drinking wine around the fire and watching some beautiful fireworks bursting into the sky. What more could you want on a crisp autumn evening?
