3 Day Get-Away (Day 3) | Mercedes Benz World & Tasty Chinese Food

Today
was a much more relaxed day, we went to Mercedes Benz World and my 15 year old
sister had the chance to drive an automatic car around the track which was
amazing to watch! Afterwards, we went to M&S for lunch, I had a coffee and
an emmental and mushroom toastie which was delicious.
We
then decided to go back to Garson’s Farm Shop as we loved the beetroot, cherry
tomatoes and the avocados that are for sale there. Only this time we bought a
few drinks, a couple of scotch eggs and pork pies, we also got 2 massive
avocados, cooked beetroot and a box of delicious plum cherry tomatoes, although
it’s a rather more expensive than a supermarket, you most certainly get what
you pay for! Everything is locally sourced and you can even pick your own fruit
and veg in the fields next door!
Afterwards
we came home for a while, and took the dog for a quick spin around the block
and gave him a good brush. We watched a bit of the film, ‘We’re the Millers’
which is hilarious. After spending some time drinking tea and having a general
chat we decided to go for a Chinese, so we got ready, went out and sat down in
the restaurant and it was seriously the most delicious Chinese I think I’ve
ever had, so if you’re ever in Weybridge, try Mr Chong’s if you’re a massive
Chinese food fan, everything was nicely flavoured and very well presented, they
kept the wine on ice and were always on hand to help, the service was good but
not overly friendly, they just let you get on with your meal and carry on with
some family gossip.
It
wasn’t till about 10pm that we arrived home, but it was a nice dry, cool
evening so we took the dog for a longer walk around the block, my brother and
Dad came with me and we had a great time just messing around and having some
great ‘banter’ xD.
