Lifting Our Summer Spirits with Weber
Although we're yet to have an actual barbecue on it, mainly because the weather has been awful in the East Midlands over the last few weeks, we are still in love with our new Weber barbecue. We had always wanted our own in a bid to host some garden parties over at our place. Don't get me wrong, we did look at some that were a little cheaper, but we thought we'd invest more for the quality and longevity factor, as we're looking to get quite a lot of use out of it.
This is a gas barbecue and it's from the Spirit range that Weber do. There's one that's slightly bigger than this one, but we thought that it'd be way too big for what we needed, hence why we opted for the smaller one of the two. We actually got the weatherproof cover thrown in for free with John Lewis, which is great because it would have cost us, near enough, £100!
There's a brand new version of this that has only recently been released and we actually went to go and look at that model in the garden centre near us, but it worked out to be pretty much exactly the same thing, only more expensive, hence why we decided to stick with this model. I'm sure that once we fire it up, I'll blog all about its first use, so watch this space :)
It was also fairly simple to construct. We had it delivered right to our door by John Lewis, in fact, they brought it into the back garden for us. But building it was pretty straightforward, surprisingly, but then I didn't actually build it - I supervised instead, naturally, haha. Although, it didn't take too long - about an hour or two at the most.
