My New Whip: Volkswagen Polo SE
Not a very long blog post today I'm afraid, but it is a very exciting one! Last weekend, I swapped my gorgeous little Vauxhall Adam for a Volkswagen Polo model. I had always wanted a Volkswagen Polo as my next car, but it took me a while to find the right one for me, my needs and my budget.
Believe it or not, I didn't actually choose the car based on its colour, as girly as it might be. It just happened to have everything I was looking for, for the right price. It was a toss-up between this one and an orange one, but this car won it for me.
We picked it up from Chester, which is about an hour and forty minutes away from us. While it was a long day with an early start, currently, I couldn't be happier with the choice that I made, knowing I was driving away with a gorgeous little car, which is a five door instead of a three door, like my Adam was.
As well as that, all of the windows are electric, the wing mirrors are heated, it has a front assist, a DAB radio and Apple Car Play. Essentially, it has a screen where I can see the maps and my music art, should I want that as a feature.
It also has other driver conveniences, like a stop/start system and a speed limiter. It also has a spare wheel, which gives me peace of mind when out and about. It's a manual car with a one litre engine.
Despite the small engine size, it's actually really nippy with great fuel economy, so I'm saving money on petrol now as well. If you're on the lookout for a new little runaround, then consider the Volkswagen Polo for a sturdy, solid car. So far, so good here! I can't wait to get out and about in it more often!
