Everything I Loved in May

The month of May was very eventful for us, mainly because we went away for two and a half weeks. But there were some other things that happened throughout May! Here's everything I loved across the last four weeks.

Our USA/Canada holiday

We went to America and Canada this month, exploring New York City, Boston, Vermont, Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto and Niagara Falls (read all about our trip here). In fact, the header picture for this blog post was taken in Vermont at the Golden Dog Farm in Stowe. 

I'll be doing a dedicated blog post all about that Golden Retriever Experience at some point here on my blog, so keep your eyes peeled for that one! We had an amazing time and wished that we could have spent a bit more time there, but hey ho!

Flying upper class with Virgin Atlantic

We actually flew upper class to New York city, and it was an experience that I don't think I'll forget in a hurry. From the service at the check-in desk to the lounge beforehand and the food, it was a brilliant experience. Again, I'll be writing a dedicated blog post all about it, and what we thought, in more detail. 

Sunny weather

I can't believe the amount of sun we've been having recently. It blows me away that, at this time of year, we've been having some amazing, hot and sunny weather here in the UK and I'm so here for that early summer. What could be better than eating breakfast outside?!

Seeing the Red Arrows flying over our house

There was an East Midlands air show on during the last weekend of May, and we were lucky enough to have the Red Arrows fly directly over our house. Three of them went past, but they were that quick that we only managed to get a picture of two of them floating past. It was incredible though, because we didn't even have to leave our back garden to catch a glimpse!
