A Week in Wales | Part 1

Over this past week, I have been on holiday in Wales. We travelled to Harlech which is situated on the coast. Because we did so much while we were there, I took rather a few photos, as you can imagine, so instead of place them all in one long post, I thought I'd separate them into three separate ones. I will be publishing the next one tomorrow (30th July) and the last instalment will go live on Sunday (31st July). I hope you enjoy it :)

The first thing we did was check out the grounds of the cottage we were staying in. The inside was pretty basic and not really worth photographing, but the outside was so pretty. The header photo was the line our little cottage was sat by! At the end was a little farm house and a barn with horses and Shetland ponies, it was pretty cool!

Our cottage is a 300 year old building, which was originally a stable. The owners had it converted into two separate cottages, still keeping most of the original features which was lovely.

There was also a little river that ran close by the cottage, and it would often run pretty high!

Just down the road was a little pub that we ended up going to pretty much every night for drinks. It was lovely to sit outside, either under the wooden hood in the beer garden, or by the side of the river. It was lovely to sit in the countryside and just have a good chat and a cold beverage in the peace and quiet!

We visited all kinds of places while we were there, including a trip up to see a rather large waterfall. It was definitely a trek and we nearly got very lost on the moors on our way round, which wasn't too fun, but once we found our bearings on the map, we got back on track pretty quickly :)

As well as the amazing countryside scenery, there were some pretty amazing views along the sea front as well!

The sunsets are also pretty amazing!

This is where I'm going to leave you until the next instalment! I hope you enjoyed this post, and make sure you stay tuned for part 2!
