A Week in Wales | Part 3
Welcome to the last instalment of 'A Week in Wales'. If you can catch up on the previous below:
Lets crack on with this final part of our adventure in Wales!
We decided that instead of visiting a beach, we'd visit a harbour! It was really pretty and very peaceful! There were kids searching for creatures in the rock pools below! All set with their nets and buckets while the parents sat along the wall and ate their sandwiches and chatted! The atmosphere was lovely, it was the perfect place to sit and relax :)
We headed to another, more sandy beach the next day! The weather was a lot nicer for us this time around, so we went with a blanket and some sandwiches and sat and ate our lunch by the sea! It was wonderful :)
As you can see, it was an awful lot busier than the beach we had visited the previous day ;) We went for a swim in the ocean and just had a really fun, relaxing day!
The next day we visited a place in Porthmadog called Portmeirion, which has got to be one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen! It's essentially a little village full of grade two listed houses and buildings. It felt like I was walking around a town in Greece or Italy. It is also where they filmed a famous TV series called 'The Prisoner'. There are multiple references to it throughout the attraction! the views are also amazing!
The next day it was time for us to go home! But on the long drive home, we decided to stop for a short while to admire the amazing view one last time! It was totally worth a half an hour detour!
This concludes the series I'm afraid! I really hope you enjoyed them all if you were following the instalments :) Have a fantastic day and I will see you again tomorrow where my normal blogging schedule will resume! Until then guys :)
