A Week in Wales | Part 2
Welcome back to the second instalment of 'A Week in Wales'. If you missed the first instalment, I'll link it here for you :)
This part of our holiday involved us going to the beach on a not so sunny day! But still, it didn't rain, the weather wasn't rubbish, it was still warm, it was just slightly cloudy!
After this we headed up for a visit to Harlech Castle, situated right on the edge of the coast! The ruins were incredible to see, and the view from the top was breath taking. The journey up there was also really pretty!
After this we went for ice cream! I went for a Mango and Gooseberry Sorbet combo and it was delicious!
The next day, we travelled up to see a slate mine! It doesn't sound as exciting, but it was so very interesting! The tourists are given hard hats and very large torches and they go around and explore on their own, every so often, there would be an information point where it listed some facts. It was really a great experience, and very educational! It would be something to do with the kids if you were to ever go and take a look. I can't remember what the name of the mine was (I'm a great help aren't I?), but it was no more than a few miles away from Harlech.
(This was the view from the top, outside of the mine)
So this is where I'll leave you for today's instalment! Check back tomorrow to see what we did on the last part of our holiday :)
