Everything I Loved in March
Another month has come and gone, and I can't believe that we're already heading into the fourth month of the year. But before we enter fully into April, it's time to take a look back at March. Here's everything that's happened throughout the month that I have loved.
My 31st birthday
This month, I turned 31. We didn't do anything massive as it's not a big birthday. It was sunny, warm and relaxing and we spent it with family. What more could anyone ask for? Spring walk around Rufford Abbey
We experienced some bad news this month, and so I needed somewhere lovely, happier and familiar to go to try and take my mind off it. I practically grew up visiting Rufford Abbey, so it holds a very special place in my heart.
It sounds silly, but it's like coming home. I feel like I revert back to being a kid and everything that's happening outside of that bubble is forgotten. It's such a beautiful place and well worth a visit if you haven't been before.
Tulips in the window
I recently wrote a blog post about how much I love tulips and why I insist on having them around the house at this time of year. There's just something lovely about having some fresh, colourful flowers in the window. I can see them from both inside and outside of the house, so they bring me joy no matter where I go. I'll definitely miss them when tulip season is over.
My new exercise bike
For my birthday, I treated myself to an exercise bike. I want to move more while I'm working from home. It's just convenient for me to clock off or stop at lunch and get on the bike. It has loads of different programmes and it goes up to resistance level 16, which is basically like cycling up an extremely steep hill. Anyway, it gets my heart pumping and legs moving and it feels great when I'm done. It was such a great purchase and I can't believe that I hadn't bought one sooner.
