5 Things to Do with a Cadbury Creme Egg This Easter
Love them or hate them, Cadbury Creme Eggs become staples in people's diets when Easter rolls around. But they can become tiresome if you're eating them the same way year after year. So I thought I'd put together a few ways that you can enjoy Cadbury Creme Eggs this year, from brownies to milkshakes. So, let's get into it, shall we?
1. Bake them into some brownies
I made some brownies a couple of years ago, inspired by all of the Easter chocolate and treats that you can buy. I bought a pack of Creme Eggs, cut them in half and stuck them in the top for good measure. They oozed out and made the most amazing addition to traditional chocolatey goodness that's associated with traditional gooey brownies. I was super impressed with how they came out, which is why it's made it onto my list of things you can do with a Cadbury Creme Egg this Easter. Get the Easter Brownie recipe here.
2. Make some milkshakes
Milkshakes are so easy to make if you have a blender of some description. It would be super simply to make a Cadbury Creme Egg milkshake. Simply chuck in some ice, some vanilla ice cream and one Creme Egg to give it a delicious flavour and texture. It's yet another thing you can do with a Cadbury Creme Egg this Easter that won't break the bank, but is a little different from just eating it normally.
3. Use them in an Easter egg hunt
Use Cadbury Creme Eggs as part of an Easter egg hunt this year. They can be bought in a pack, ranging from three right up to ten! Look out for the offers to make it even more cost-effective. Simply hide them around your home or garden and set the kids free. It will keep them occupied for hours, both the hunt itself and the eating of the Creme Eggs.
4. Add them to a chocolate trifle
Trifle is such an easy thing to make, especially if it's a chocolate one. If you're struggling for an Easter dessert, then put a seasonal spin on the classic pudding by slicing Cadbury Creme Eggs in two and placing them on top in a pretty pattern.
5. Just eat them the classic way
The last thing you can do with a Cadbury Creme Egg is to just eat it normally. Chuck one in your weekly shop, sit in the car and enjoy it before coming home, haha! It never hurt as a once in a while Easter treat, did it? Don't let that stop you from just enjoying the Creme Eggs as they are...if they're your thing. People either love them or hate them!
