It's that time again where I put together a list of things I'd love to buy right now, and I'm slowly working my way down the list. You know what it's like. Life gets in the way and you end up putting off those purchases that you want to make.
For us personally, we have a holiday coming up, plus we've just bought a new SAGE coffee machine, I've bought an exercise bike, a fresh pair of white Birkenstocks, another pair of Sketchers and even a pair of Ugg slippers.
So all of the things on the following list will have to wait, at least till we come back home from being on our holly-bobs. I'll be sure to update you as and when those things are bought and ticked off the list! Anyway, right here, right now, here's everything on my wishlist.
1. A new laptop
I'm in desperate need of a new laptop. It's not a case of wanting something new, it's needing something new. I currently use a Google Chromebook. But it's coming up to be nearly ten years old and it will no longer do any updates.
Also, the features on it are starting to become limited as I don't have the latest software downloaded. I've tried everything. But when I come to manually update it, it tell me that it can't do it and that I need to buy a new machine.
As much as it pains me, I may just have to bite the bullet at some point and get something new. Have you used a Chromebook before? Which one do you recommend? For now, I can use my husband's MacBook, so it's not all bad!
2. A gold Daniel Wellington watch
I already have a rose gold
Daniel Wellington watch, but I'm looking for a yellow gold one now. My current rose gold DW watch is about seven years old now. It was a present from my parents when I turned 24, so it's special to me.
It's just there are some instances where I'm wearing yellow gold jewellery, but I don't have a yellow gold watch to bring the look together. Why Daniel Wellington? I just love the design and style of DW watches. So keep your eyes peeled for a blog post about that at some point this year.
3. New White Company hand towels
I absolutely LOVE the towels from The White Company. But we've had our current ones now for over five years, so it's time, despite looking after them for that long, to replace them. We have bath towels from The White Company as well, but they're reserved for our overnight guests!
The hand towels, however, get a LOT of use. So it's time to retire them and replace them. But I really would rather replace them like-for-like, rather than just buy hand towels from somewhere like Sainsbury's. While you probably won't hear about my new hand towels on here, my guests can expect some new ones soon
4. Paco Rebanne 'Lady Million' perfume
I'm somewhat of a perfume collector. It's only really happened as I've got older, but one that has never been part of my collection, that I would LOVE to have as part of my collection, is the Paco Rebanne 'Lady Million' perfume.
I love the smell of it, but I've never been able to find it for a stellar price and I definitely won't buy perfume from places like Amazon. I could always grab a bottle in duty free, but I always think about carrying it around and thinking "it's just another thing to pack" on our way home or out to a different country.
That and I don't think you get good deals in duty free anymore, so I always think "I can get this cheaper at Boots for full price". It's a tough one, but I'm sure I'll just crumble the next time I smell it and I'll be taking it up to the till before I know it, haha.
If I do end up buying a bottle, I'm sure you'll see it in some sort of 'favourites' blog post before the year is out! Do you have this perfume? What sort of price did you get it for and where did you make your purchase? Let me know in the comments.
5. A COACH handbag in either cream or tan
I have a
COACH handbag already, but it's black so it's perfect for autumn/winter, but not necessarily spring/summer. While I do have a different tan handbag to fall back on - my
Michael Kors crossbody bag - I really would love either a cream or a tan COACH bag to match my black one. We'll see, I'm sure I'll get my hands on one at some point within the next twelve months or so. Keep your eyes peeled!
