Getting Our Christmas Tree | Festive Family Trip to Sherwood Pines
Every single year, we've had a real Christmas tree! So this year has (of course) been no different. Last Friday, I took the day off work to venture over to Sherwood Pines to choose a Christmas tree for 2019. We went back and forth from 8ft to 6ft trees, from spruces to firs and from firs to pines. But in the end, a 6ft fir came in as the clear winner.
We went to get it netted up and packed into the boot of our car, then it was time for a coffee! We walked over to the main hut and ordered a few beverages and a bite to eat. I went for a skinny latte and a jacket potato as it was approaching lunchtime. They always serve great food in the Sherwood Pines cafe, along with excellent customer service.
Afterwards, we took a leisurely stroll back to the car and listened to Christmas tunes all the way home! What's not to love about that?
