Our Disney Food Diary | Everything We Ate in the Walt Disney World Parks
If you've ever been to Disney park, you'll know that there's lots of delicious food and drink on offer, especially at Walt Disney World where you have EPCOT. This is because they have something there called a 'World Showcase', where they display a few countries from around the world to give you a taste of what it might be like to actually visit there. This doesn't stop with the food and drinks they have available, either. But then again, each park has its quirky dishes so let's see what Tom and I both ate while we were out there :)
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom is full of amazing eateries, restaurants and stalls that have a wide variety of delicious, indulgent food and drink on offer. From burgers to ice cream, there'll be something there for you, no mater how much of a fussy eater you are! So here's everything we ate at Magic Kingdom :) From the top photo down:
- A Mickey Mouse cinnamon roll - Starbucks, Main Street
- A Mickey Mouse rice crispy shape - Main Street Confectionery
- A margarita and a meaty flatbread with a side of fries - Pinocchio Village Haus, Fantasyland
- Chilli dog with fries and a Greek salad with chicken - Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, Tomorrowland
- Cookies and cream and strawberry ice cream in a waffle basket - Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, Main Street
- Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich - Fantasyland (although you can buy these at any quick service stall)
EPCOT
EPCOT is probably the park we ate the most in, mainly because you can try different cuisines from around the world without actually having to step foot on an aeroplane. So we tried to give a little bit of everything a go. I might not have remember to take pictures of every bit of food we had, but here's what I did manage to capture :) From the top photo down:
- A ham and cheese croissant, a raspberry macaroon and a chocolate mousse tart - France
- A steak and herb mash casserole with half a pint of lager - Canada
- Traditional poutine - Canada
- A chocolate button cookie, a pan au chocolat and a beef teriyaki - Sunshine Seasons restaurant, Land Pavilion
- Local Wildflower Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake with Orange Blossom Honey Whipped Cream, Whipped Honey, Crystallised Honey, Honeycomb, Dehydrated Honey and Fennel Pollen Meringue Kisses - The Honey Bee-stro
- Avocado toast with Marinated Toybox Tomatoes on Toasted Ciabatta - Sunshine Griddle
- Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with Savoury Garlic Spread - Flavour Full Kitchen
- Ham burger and fries - Creations Cafe
Animal Kingdom
We didn't really eat a whole lot when we visited Animal Kingdom. It wasn't for any particular reason, we were just busy being on our feet, walking around, enjoying the safari and taking in the sights of Pandora (Avatar land) and marvel at The Tree of Life. We had a few pit stops of the Creature Comforts Starbucks for a drink but that was it really other than what I'm about to show you, which is a shame because what we did consume in that park was delicious!
- A grilled Chicken Bowl with Cilantro Rice and Mixed Greens Topped Served with Grilled Chicken Topped with Salsa - Harambe Market
- Giant pretzel with cheese sauce - available from most quick service stands throughout the park, but this one was purchased in Pandora
Hollywood Studios
Much like Animal Kingdom, this wasn't really the kind of park where sitting around and eating is, shall we say, encouraged. You eat and carry on moving, hence the complete lack of food consumed in this park. But what we did eat was splendid to say the least.
I know I'm not really including drinks in this but this selection of beer was too delectable not to share with you. I can't remember what the beers were called, but that's all part of the fun. We went in and asked the lady behind the bar to choose some for us and she did a pretty good job to be fair!
The wrap we bought in the Star Wars bit of Hollywood Studios. It was basically just a bit of a quick service canteen type place that was literally called "Ronto Roasters". The pork, the sausage and even the slaw released tantalising flavours; surprising considering all it was really just a sausage in a wrap, haha.
- A selection of beers and a strawberry lemonade - Baseline Tap House
- Ronto Wrap with Pulled Pork, a Grilled Pork Sausage, Peppercorn Sauce and Tangy Slaw Wrapped in Pita Bread - Ronto Roasters
