The New Starbucks Drink for Summer & How to Make it at Home: Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso
I don't know if you've been to a Starbucks recently, but you might have noticed, if you have, that they've got a brand new drink on the menu - The Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso. We had a couple of these in Florida last month and they taste absolutely divine.
But when we came back to the UK and had one here, it tasted nothing like how it did in the States. We were wondering how they could taste so different and eventually, we worked out what needed to be put in it to make it taste pretty much identical to how it tasted in the US. So here's how you can make the perfect Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso.
What you'll need...
*Oat milk
*Cinnamon
*Brown sugar
*Two espresso shots
*4-7 cubes of ice
How to make it...
1. Take the cup you want it in and put your ice cubes into the bottom of it
2. Next, you want to make two espresso shots and pour those in over the ice
3. Then throw in 2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder and 2 teaspoons of brown sugar
4. Top the mixture up with oat milk
5. Go out into the sunshine, grab a good book and enjoy your beverage
That's all there is to it, it really is that simple to make an Inced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso at home - perfect for saving a bit of money as opposed to going into Starbucks all the time. It's also ideal for this warm weather when you fancy something bitter/sweet but icy cold.
