Blogmas Day 10 | A Recipe: Non-Alcoholic Christmas Punch

Welcome to Blogmas day 10! I'll be uploading some festive content every single day on the run-up to Christmas Day, so keep checking back for Christmas blog posts every day for your festive fix. Today, I'm going to be telling you how you can put together the ultimate non-alcoholic Christmas punch for your parties and get-togethers.

Christmas is a time for eating and drinking, but not everyone wants to look to alcohol for a good time. Whether you have designated drivers coming to your Christmas party or someone who is pregnant, then a delicious non-alcoholic Christmas punch is a great way to go so that everyone is catered for. So, how can you make it? Let me tell you!

Serves: 4-6 (scale up and down depending on the number of guests)

Prep time: 10 mins (may vary if more has to be made)

Ingredients

*2 pears
*2 lemons
*1 tbsp mixed spice
*400ml white grape juice
*2 tbsp caster sugar
*275ml ginger ale
*500ml sparkling water/soda water
*Ice
*Rosemary sprigs (for garnish)

Method

1. Slice the pears and one of the two lemons up and place those into a punch bowl or pitcher, along with the mixed spice and sugar

2. Place the pitcher or punch bowl into the fridge and leave to chill for an hour or so so that it can infuse

3. Once chilled for an hour, juice the second lemon and add that juice to the punch bowl, along with the grape juice and stir until the sugar dissolves

4. Now pour in the ginger ale and the sparkling water and add the ice, then stir again

5. Drop in a few sprigs of rosemary into the bowl or jug and then serve (be sure to drink it all on the day of making)
