Everything I Loved in December
Another month has passed and we're now at the end of the year. How did that happen? But it while it signals the end of one year, it marks the start of the next, where there are loads of fun and exciting things to look forward to. But right now, I'm going to be telling you everything I have loved throughout the month of December, so let's get to it!
A Christmas wedding
This month, my cousin got married, the Saturday before Christmas which was lovely. It was such a nice Christmassy wedding, like one I'd never been to before. The atmosphere, the food and the company were amazing, which is why it's ended up on my list of everything I loved throughout the month of December.
Spending some time in Wales
In between Christmas and New Year, we travelled to Wales and stayed for one night to see my brother and sister-in-law before they have their baby, who is due in January. So we wanted to make sure they had a bit of TLC before the baby arrives. Wales is such a beautiful place, so it was lovely to spend some festive time there and be with the family.
Having some "me" time
December saw me spending a bit of time on myself, which I don't always do. I had a much-needed hair cut and I also had my nails done in time for the Christmas period. There's something nice about giving yourself a bit of pampering, especially at this time of year.
Christmas!
Of course, it was Christmas this month and it was such a lovely break spent with family and friends. We spent Christmas with Tom's side of the family this year. But we did ended up spending Boxing Day with my parents, which was lovely, and that's exactly why the entire Christmas period has ended up here in my list of everything I loved in December.
